What is the Track page and what can it tell me?This single page answers the one question everybody has after handing over a file — where has it reached. Put in the mobile number you used and your reference, and it reads the live record: the service you booked, the price agreed, the exact stage the work has reached, the name and direct mobile number of the Legal Space Services team member responsible for it, the office or court where it has been filed, any document still awaited from you, and the date it is expected to be finished. Advocates who have applied to be listed use the second tab to follow their application through the same page. It is free, it needs no login, and nothing on it takes a payment.

Two details, so it stays private

Both a reference and the mobile number on the file are needed before anything opens. That is what stops somebody trying phone numbers one after another and reading your documents.

What do I need before I can track something?For an order: the 10-digit mobile number the order was placed with, and the Order number. The order number begins with LSS and is printed on the order slip we hand over and in the confirmation message sent when the order is placed. For an advocate application: the mobile number on the application, and either the LSS-ADV Application Number shown on screen the moment the form was submitted, or the Bar enrolment number given on the form — either works. Nothing else is needed. There is no account to create, no password to remember and no app to install, and the page works the same on a phone as on a computer.

Why does the status sometimes sit on one stage for a few days?Because the stage reflects what is genuinely happening, not a countdown. Some steps are ours and move quickly — typing, formatting, e-stamping, checking documents. Others are not ours at all: a date given by a court or registrar, a notice period fixed by statute, an appointment slot, an objection window. When the file is sitting with an office rather than with us, the stage stays where it is and the honest thing is to show that rather than invent movement. If a stage looks stuck longer than you expected, the direct number of the person handling it is right there on the card — call them and ask.

How do I track my order with Legal Space Services?

Open the Track page, keep the "My order" tab selected, and enter two things — the mobile number you placed the order with and your Order number, which begins with LSS and is printed on your order slip and confirmation message. The page then shows the service you ordered, the date, the price agreed, the current stage, the name and direct mobile number of the team member handling your file, the office where it has been filed, and the expected completion date. No login, no password and no payment.

Why do you ask for the order number as well as the mobile number?

Because a mobile number alone is easy to guess. Asking for both means nobody can open your file, read your documents or download your papers by trying phone numbers one after another. It is the same reason the advocate tab asks for a reference as well as a mobile number.

What exactly can I see on the Track page?

Six stages of the work — order received, assigned to a named specialist, documents collected and verified, application prepared, filed at the office, and completed and ready to collect — each with the date and time it happened. You also see any question our worker has asked you and can answer it, upload a document that is still pending, download your finished papers, and download your order slip as a PDF.

Can I upload documents from the Track page?

Yes. Once your order opens, any document our team is still waiting for appears with an upload box next to it. The file goes straight to the person handling your file, so you do not have to send it on WhatsApp or bring it to the office.

I am an advocate — can I track my listing application here too?

Yes. Switch to the "My advocate application" tab and enter your LSS-ADV Application Number, or your Bar enrolment number, together with the mobile number you applied with. You will see the five stages the application passes through, every message our office has sent you, and a box to reply and upload a document if one has been asked for. There is no fee at any stage of that application, in either direction.

Is anything charged on this page?

Nothing. Tracking is free, and for our services payment is due only when the work is finished and handed over. Government fees — court fee, e-stamp, registration charges — are separate and are paid to the government, not to us.

I ordered by phone or WhatsApp and my order does not show.

Orders taken by phone or chat are not always entered against the same number you are searching with. Call us with your name and the date and we will tell you the status directly and, if you like, create the order number so that you can track it here afterwards.

How often does the status change?

It is not a scheduled update — the page reads the live file. The moment the person handling your matter moves it to the next stage, the change is visible here.
