What happens after I book a call?
Your request reaches our desk straight away with a reference number, and one person is put on it rather than passing you around. We call you back on the number you gave, at the time you asked for where that is possible. On the call we tell you what your matter actually needs, what it will cost, and how long it usually takes — and if it is something you can do yourself, or something we do not handle, we say that instead of selling you something.
Is the call really free?
Yes, and there is nothing attached to it. You are not charged for the call, you are not asked for anything in advance, and there is no obligation at the end of it. We make our money on the work, not on the conversation about the work.
Will you try to sell me something on the call?
We will tell you what the work costs if you ask, because you should be able to compare. What we will not do is pretend you need something you do not. A fair number of our calls end with us telling somebody that their matter needs an advocate rather than a documentation company, or that the thing they are worried about does not need any paperwork at all.
I need an advocate, not documents. Can you still help?
Yes, and that is a growing part of what people come to us for. We are not advocates and we do not appear in court, but our
directory is free to search and free to write through, it runs alphabetically, and nobody on it has paid for a position. On the call we can tell you what kind of advocate your matter needs and how to filter the list. Court work is for your advocate, whose fee is engaged and paid by you directly; we do not quote, collect or share it.
What should I keep ready before the call?
A one-line description of what you need, the city where it has to happen, and any deadline — a visa appointment, a wedding date, a court date. If you already have documents, having them near you helps, but nothing is needed to book. The most useful thing you can bring is dates.
How soon will you call?
Within working hours, usually the same day. Requests that arrive after 7pm or on a Sunday are picked up in the first hour of the next working morning. If your matter has a date on it — a hearing, a deadline — say so in the message box and it is treated accordingly.
What are your working hours?
Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. You can book a call or send a WhatsApp message at any hour; the booking is recorded immediately and answered in working hours.
Do I have to pay anything in advance?
No. Placing an order is free and you pay after the work is done. Where a government office charges a fee, stamp duty or similar, it is passed on at actual cost and shown separately from our charge, and you hear the whole figure before anything begins.
Do I need to come to your office?
For most document work, no. Documents can be sent on WhatsApp or email, drafts approved on your phone, and the finished papers delivered by courier or in person. Some things do need you there in person — a marriage has to be solemnised or registered with both partners and the witnesses present. We tell you in advance which visits are unavoidable and plan them so you make as few trips as possible.
Which areas do you cover?
We work in person across Delhi NCR, and handle drafting, affidavits, agreements and a great deal of other document work for clients anywhere in India, online. Where something has to be completed at an office in another state, we tell you plainly what can be done remotely and what needs somebody local.
Which language can I speak in?
Hindi or English, or the mix of the two that most people actually speak. Documents can be prepared in English, in Hindi, or in both where the office will accept it.
Is what I tell you kept private?
Yes. Marriage, family and property matters are personal, and your details go only to the office or person the work actually requires, and only as far as necessary. Our
privacy policy sets out what is collected, why, and how you can ask for it to be corrected or deleted.
I already placed an order. How do I check it?
Use the
order tracking page with your order number, or send that number on WhatsApp. If you have lost it, send the phone number you used when ordering and we will find the file.
I need an advocate, not a service. What happens if I pick that option?
Your request stops going to our documentation desk and goes instead to the advocates on our network, all of them at the same time. The first one who takes it is the one who calls you, and it disappears from everybody else's panel at that moment, so you do not get five calls about the same thing. Your name and number are not shown to any advocate until one has accepted — until then they see the matter, the city and what you wrote, and nothing that identifies you. Court work is for your advocate, whose fee is engaged and paid by you directly; we do not quote, collect or share it.
How long does it take for an advocate to pick up my request?
Usually within working hours on the same day, because it reaches every advocate on the network at once rather than sitting in one person's inbox. If nobody has taken it by the next working morning, our own desk calls you instead and tells you honestly what is happening — sometimes a matter is in a district or a specialism where we simply do not have somebody yet, and it is better you hear that than wait.
Does it cost more to be put through to an advocate this way?
No. We do not charge you for the introduction, and we do not take a share of anything the advocate charges. The
directory is free to search, free to be listed on, and runs alphabetically with no paid positions. What the advocate charges is agreed directly between the two of you.
Can I ask for a particular advocate?
Yes. Search the
directory, open the person's page and write through it, or say the name in the message box here. We pass it to them rather than to the network. If they are not free, we tell you so instead of quietly giving it to somebody else.
What if I choose the wrong option on this form?
Nothing breaks. The option decides where your request goes first, not what we are allowed to do for you. If it turns out that a court matter needs documents, or a document matter needs an advocate, the person handling it moves it — you do not have to fill the form again.
Which parts of Delhi NCR do you come to in person?
North, South, East, West and Central Delhi, Dwarka, Rohini, Saket, Karkardooma, Tis Hazari and the areas around each of those court complexes, and across Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Faridabad. Say the area on the form and the call comes from somebody who knows that office and its queue, rather than somebody reading it off a list.
I am outside Delhi. Is it still worth booking?
Yes, for anything that can be drafted, checked, attested online or filed remotely — that is a large part of what we do, for clients in every state. What we will not do is take your money for something that has to be done in person in a city where we have nobody. On the call we say plainly which half of that your matter is in.
I am abroad. What is the best time to book a call?
Put your country or time zone in the message box and choose the nearest slot; we work Indian hours, Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. NRI matters — marriage registration, powers of attorney, apostille, documents needed for a visa or an embassy — are common enough for us that the person who calls will not be hearing it for the first time.
Will a lot of different people call me after I book?
No, and the system is built so it cannot happen. One request produces one owner: either one person at our desk, or one advocate who has accepted it. Your number is not passed around while that is being decided.
Can I book on WhatsApp instead of filling this form?
You can, and many people do. The difference is that the form gives you a reference number and puts your matter in writing where the next person can read it, so nothing is lost if the conversation moves between people. If you prefer WhatsApp, send what the matter is and which city — those two lines save the most time.
Is there an office I can just walk into?
We are in New Delhi and you are welcome, but call or book first. A great deal of our work is out at courts and government offices during the day, and a booked time means somebody is actually sitting there for you instead of you waiting for a person who is at Tis Hazari.
How do I make a complaint?
Through the complaint option in our
help centre, or to the Grievance Officer whose details are on this page. A complaint is acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days; the
grievance redressal page sets out the process.
